Kevin Fiur is a senior executive leader (MBA/JD) with over twenty years of diverse corporate and legal experience both domestically and internationally. He is a thoughtful leader, mentor, and experienced manager with a history of developing exceptionally successful teams. His background includes serving as the General Counsel, CEO, COO, Senior Vice President and Board Member of public and private companies at various stages of their growth and development.
Mr. Fiur is skilled at managing complex and dynamic legal and business challenges, as well as crafting business development and corporate growth strategies, leading unified execution for sustained innovation and growth, and building, restructuring and managing operations. He has successfully negotiated win-win agreements, joint ventures, and M&A transactions in multiple countries with publicly traded companies, private entities, and government agencies. He is adept at identifying strategic investments to drive growth and at negotiating complex agreements that ensure that the interests of all stakeholders are aligned.
In August 2015, Mr. Fiur was recruited by iFLY Indoor Skydiving to head legal and business affairs as its acting General Counsel and to design and build the company's first legal department. Prior to joining iFLY, Mr. Fiur was recruited to join Quantum Interface as its Executive Vice President to lead business development, sales and licensing of its predictive user interface software development tools. Prior to that, in 2011, Mr. Fiur founded Innovestion LLC to commercialize IP-backed technologies and to invest in undervalued intangible assets generated from the R&D of leading global companies. His earlier venture, IP Knowledge Ventures, was a private investment and consulting firm focused on the acquisition, development and monetization of intellectual property, which was poised to go public before the '08 market crash. All members of the firm joined ICAP in 2009 with the directive to build and manage a global platform for IP transactions that previously did not exist and ultimately would generate tens of millions of dollars in annual revenues under Mr. Fiur's direction.
Mr. Fiur's education includes a BA degree in the Plan II Honors Program from the University of Texas at Austin, a JD (Order of the Coif) from the University of Texas School Of Law, and a MBA (with honors) from the Acton School of Business in Austin, Texas.
